Bag-of-Bags
Jan. 24th, 2008 11:08 amFollowing the tutorial from Readymade (ok, is that the best magazine ever or what?), I made this bag of bags! It uses a shit-ton of plastic grocery bags, so it's a great way to use up a stash from shops which refuse to carry paper bags *ahem*TARGET*ahem*.

My sewing machine got a bit testy going through so many layers, and I had to tug it along entirely manually since the feet don't grip very well to plastic bag. I'm sure a more experienced sewer would have tried a different foot, but it was 1AM and I wanted to get the thing done:D It's very sturdy and waterproof!

It stands up on its own! This is good, since sewing in the bottom piece was a BITCH
