hullo craftsters!

i have a question. about knitting machines.
im thinking of buying one, but dont know a lot about them, and googling for info just brings up people trying to sell me one.

so, can you use any wool in them? or does it have to be special types of wool? can you use the fuzzy, funster type wool? most of my monsters are knitted with that, and since thats what im buying it for, it'd suck to find out i couldnt.

do you have any tips or anything about using them?

and jsut so this aint post only, and just so you don't think i'm a one trick pony with the knitted monster gig, here is a set i created for a theatre show recently, built out of brown clothes and wire.

and when they taught us basket weaving in year 2, i shook my head and wondered when the hell i'd ever use that knowledge again. ahh, will the young ever learn?

well, clearly they do, eventually :)
