Jan. 28th, 2008 01:00 amI've been on a crafting kick:
Finally... I stopped putting off doing my crafting, sat down and got some progress done. About 5 months into my pregnancy, my ex fiance'/ best friend's sister gave me a rather large tub full of boys baby clothes for my son. She just had twins this past may, and had a lot (and by a lot, I mean a ton) of clothes that she received from friends and family and knew that her two boys wouldn't end up getting to wear before they got too big so she passed them onto me. Within the massive tub of clothes were quite a few blank onesies. I had planned on dishing out a few stenciled ones before my son was born.... procrastinator!!! I didn't even start working on them (with the exception of one) until a week and a half ago, my son is now almost 3 months old, heh. I managed to get 9 onesies stenciled, I was able to stencil one... count em' one, BEFORE he was born ::)
Take a look:

This is the one I did before he was born.

I saw a onesie like this before on this board I believe so I had to try it out, used masking tape to section off the stripes and then used a stencil from stencil punks (I think that's where I got it)

This is my nickname for him, because he's a booger butt, lol

I only stenciled the star on this one, the rest I did free hand.

You'd have to know who Corey "Mr. Safety" Williams is from YouTube (he does the Mean Kitty song), he does a song called Make Poop, it's actually rather funny.

gas mask (stencilpunks)

This one is my favorite

This is my dad's nickname for him, lol
Well those are the onesies, there was one more but somehow the picture got deleted off of my computer. But was I stopping with just those? Oh no, not a chance. I came across this black hand bag at Hot Topic that was $6 on clearance. So I decided that I wanted to bleach pen stencil it. I think it turned out pretty good.

Then I wanted to stencil this book that had a felt like cover:

and last, but not least my zipper hoodie was too plain so I gave it a touch up. (all the swirls are done by hand.)

front pockets

left arm
I was going to put wings on the back of it, but I thought that was too much on this jacket.
Anyway, sorry for all the pics. Tell me what you all think.
