Memories <3
Jan. 31st, 2008 01:39 amSo over the years I have amassed a LARGE amount of crafts that I have yet to post here. Here are some of them in vaguely chronological order.
This was a Christmas present for a friend a hella long time ago. I'm pretty sure it wasn't posted yet. Glass beads & memory wire and a ring to go with it.
A birthday present for my Bon Bon - A Powerpuff bear! Made from a 99 cent pillowcase!

My ORANGE TEAM lariat!
My finger-knitted scarf and another lariat I made.
A dancing lady keychain for my dad for Christmas (by the way I've totally given up on chronology here)
One of the picture lighters all my friends got for Christmas. Most of which got forgotten at the New Years party. I don't know why I bother :p
Necklaces for Christmas for cousin, mom and best friend. Mosaic tiles and polyclay

Last New Years' amazing shrinky dink heart necklace which I subsequently left in my disaster of a purse and got totally ruined :( (image from stencilry.org)
But in its hononour, I've decided that every New Years outfit will feature an innapropriately Halloween-themed homemade jewelry piece. Behold this New Years' wicked ass wooden spider earrings. And the boyfriend, cuz he's fun to show off too. Actually, now that I think of it, this traditon spans to the previous year and...
2006's necklace which is a piece of red coral but I always thought it looked like a severed piece of bloody spine. Which is why I liked it. I'm odd like that.
Here's a decorated ipod shuffle for a last-minute ohmigodit'smyboyfriend'sbirthdayandididn'tgethimanythingyet, for a friend. It's photo paper and packing tape.
Tree - o - Beads! She had been on my ass to make her a wire tree for a while, so there it is. That was last year's birthday, this was this year's:
She wanted money to buy a snowboard. This is why you DON'T ask a crafty person to just give you money. (This is the envelope for her card.) Speaking of boarding -
With left-over yarn from the finger-knitted scarf above, I made one of those strings that kids have in their winter coats to keep their gloves attached. Yea my boyfriend makes fun of me for it, but my God are they ever useful! Not having to squeeze them between my legs for dear life every time i take them off and fear terribly that they'll fall off the lift... I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who boards!
Some basic earrings.
A Christmas present for my weiner friend who would actually wear a picture of her and her boyfriend in a necklace. <3 hehe. It's a pic from an index card embedded in resin, backed with really tiny glass beads (gold, cuz they're the gold team!) and wrapped in gold wire and hung on black tiger tail,
And my most recent re-vamping, a picture frame that was given to me by Anna (the one in the middle who has appeared multiple times here already) which originally contained this photo in a frame which was baby blue and inexplicably read "little prince boy" or something strange. So I halloweened it up according to its lovely contents!
Okay well that's my crafty life for the span of the past few years I guess... sorry for subjecting you all to this ridiculously long post, I guess I'm just feeling uncreative lately and I just needed some encouragement and you're all such lovely people :) Hope you've enjoyed my epic post.
