I'm trying to figure out how professional jewelers suspend beads on an invisible string without the use of crimp beads or spacers... it's those multi layered necklaces with just a few pretty beads held in place.

I doubt that it's something like glue because over time that would fade and I really want this to be as professional as possible.

Any other professional tips are welcomed. We have silver chain and little connector rings and this weekend I want to show my daughter how to make beautiful pieces of jewelry. She has the earring fixtures and probably everything she could ever need down to the tiger wire and invisible stretch string.

Her big hurdle right now is finishing pieces off and also making them the right length... what is a really good length for a necklace? I tried measuring but it's hard to determine for an adult. Her ideal situation is to sell these online and donate the profits.
