No-sew fancy dress costumes

The skirt is made from lino fastened with laces up the side and the cloak is a curtain. The breast plates are kids' plastic shields and the helmet was adapted from a plastic viking helmet (I took the horns off and added the feathers & plaits). The boots have fake fur wrapped around them and safety-pinned. The shield is a catering tray with bits of lino glued on.


The 'kilt' is an old duvet cover wrapped around, with a strip cut for a sash. The wrist cuffs are made from some of the leftover lino, with fake fur underneath. The headband is just a leather thong plaited together.
