craftgrrl | Fellowship of the Ring Bag

I've always been a fan of Lord of the Rings(both the movies and books) and other works of Tolkien, so I decided to come up with a way to take Middle Earth with me everywhere I go.< 3

First, I took an old promotional shot of the first movie, a silhouette of the Fellowship in front of the mountains. I enlarged and fancied that up even more in Photoshop to give me this. Then I printed it out on a sheet of "printer fabric" and got to sewing a nice bag to carry to school with me.(:

It has a little pocket inside for my ID and pencils.:D

And little ribbon ties to keep it closed if absolutely necessary.

And you'll have to ignore my artsy mess here.:|

I'm more of a painter and I don't sew too often, but I had fun making this. I was a little uneasy when sewing the lining, but it all turned out well enough that I'm happy with it.:D
