hi everybody
i think im in a pickle.

for christmas, my best friend got me 2 pairs of the CUTEST shoes, the problem is they are both too big. one is made of canvas, and the other is some sort of stiff fabric with sequins sewn all over it. theyre size 11, and i wear a 9.5 or a 10. theyre too much too big that i cant wear them.

normally, id just return them and get the right size, but when i went to old navy to return them, i didnt realize that i needed to have her employee number (yes, she works there) to do a return/exchange. i dont want her to know they dont fit, and i cant just be like "so whats your employee number huh?" because since she works there, she knows what i'd want it for.

do yall have any ideas on ways to shrink them/put inserts in the toe/ANYTHING to make them fit? i really like them i just cant wear them... :(

any ideas would be helpful, from one shoe-loving girl to another!

also: the canvas ones i already washed and dried in an attempt to shrink them, and they did a little bit but theyre still too big to wear. i didnt try with the sequined ones though.
