T-shirts and prefolds

I'd like to decorate some t-shirts and diapers to match. I've got procion dyes to dye them and jacuard textile paints to embellish the dyed clothes. I was planning to tub dye them for a nice even solid color then paint over that, topped by painting with freezer paper for stencils, at least to start with. However, I'm open to other ideas as I'm not going for a specific finished product, as this is just a stress relief project for me.
