baby crafting!
Feb. 27th, 2008 05:39 pmI'm 21 weeks pregnant, and about a week ago the bf and I found out we were having a boy.
We wanted to break the news to his family in a cute way, so naturally, that meant getting crafty.

The day before the ultrasound I went out and got 2 of the $1 wooden frames from Michaels, and some of the little wooden embellishments, along with 2 plain white gift bags, and some pink and blue bag filler.
That night I painted the frames yellow (a much lighter yellow than it appears to be in that picture), and added the little white dots, as well as the "baby" in the top right corner.
The next day after we knew what we were having, I came home and added his name as well as the little blue hand.
Then we went to Kinkos and got copies of the ultrasound pictures, put one in each bag, filled it with the pink and blue filler, and gave one to his parents, and one to his sister and brother-in-law.
I think they really liked it. :)
