Another roll up storage thing....
Mar. 5th, 2008 01:59 pmSo I had all these makeup brushes with no home, and this fabric with a really spiffy graphic of perfume bottles......and had been meaning to try out some vinyl over fabric sewing projects.......
Put those together and you get:

Closed, with a handy dandy snap belt.

Partially open. I like making things with a top flap. It keeps the contents secure and cleaner that way.

And fully open.
~The inside isn't as neat looking as I'd like (you can really see some of the green stitching especially at the top from attaching the edging where it didn't line up nice) but since it's on the inside, and it is just for keeping my brushes nice, enh, it's alright.~
The edges are finished with some lime green double fold bias tape because there were so many layers of vinyl and fabric in some areas it was the only thing I could use. As it was, towards the end my machine was not pleased with me.
One main layer of pockets, doubled up fabric and clear vinyl, then some smaller just clear vinyl pockets over those for tinier brushes and tweezers.
I even made room for my eyelash curler. Which I very rarely use, but that's primarily because it's not easy to get at.
This is all for now.
