Hi, I`m new in this network;-). and I have a problem: My best friend will leave the country for a few years and I decided to knitt myself as a puppet, so she can still have me at her breakfasttable... any ideas how to start?

The Tudor Project - The 1 Year Anniversary Edition

I've only recently realized I had forgotten about the anniversary of my Tudor Project!
It was on February 6th, so I'm only 5 months late, no biggie. *facepalm into oblivion*

As a sort of celebration, I made a revision of the mega-post that signaled the original event over a year ago. Only this time you get to see new characters and new versions of the old ones thrown in the mix.

Word of caution: it's a BIG post.

A long time ago someone posted here photos and a link to a tutorial on making polymer dolls. They were two stunning Elfs. Rather dark looking. I've saved the link, but since then, my laptop dided and took all my saves with it. Now my mum got interested in making dolls herself and asked me if I new any good links and I just cant find it. I've tried checking tags and going back through the archive day by day, but I just can't find it.

If any of you know what I'm talking about or know any other good links, please help!

Haroshki (c) dolls

Hi everybody! :) I just found your community today and thought maybe I might show you my dolls :) These are my creations, I called them "Haroshki" (c) in Russian, I would translate this as "cuties" into English but not quite... I was inspired by russian Matryoshka (Babushka) dolls and Japanese Kokeshi dolls :) Look what happened :)

she's made from ladoll stone clay, gesso, paint, glass eyes, doll hair, strung with elastic. I whipped up the clothes pretty quickly from a cheap scarf just so she wasn't nekkid around the house.

I'll try a new one after newyears.

having alot of time on my hands, I've been busy sewing for the little ones.
little dolls that is XD Mcguivered a light tent using a sheet, some wire metal shelves, drawing paper and the thing I iron stuff on.
most of the fabrics are either cotton, or recycled fabric from old kimonos!
