Decorative stitch

Hello fellow craftsters:

I just recently cut a small patch out of a t-shirt and attatched to my messenger bag via fusible interfacing. Now, however, the edges look rough and boring. Can anyone suggest a decorative stitch that I could edge it with that would make the patch look neat and cute?
