Apr. 5th, 2008 12:04 pmHi there.
I've recently just got into making jewellery. I used to be quite crafty in college and school, but I left college in November because I simply hated it.
I've just got a few photos to post so I can gain some feedback from you all and maybe you could suggest some ideas of what I can develop etc.

Firstly I'll show you the stuff I did in college. It's all very textiles based and the theme I had was flowers, not that it shows much...haha.

This is basically strands of material all joined together by thread. I'm not very keen on this anymore but I thought I'd just give you some background knowledge lol.

I really like this even if it is just a simple weave.

Also just another simple weave.

An embellished photograph. You might not be able to see it, but I've sewn over parts of the flowers, such as the petals, the stem and the pollen bit (what's the technical name for that?). I've used thread, metallic thread, buttons and beads :]

Two photographs woven together to make a new photograph. Quite an interesting contrast I thinkkk.
And now this is the stuff I've been working on recently. But I need a little bit more oomph and a shove in the right direction. Help?

Just buttons on some ribbon to create simplicity!

My favourite. Cute lil charm for my keys!
Any feedback please.
Good or bad, I'm not fussed. :]
Thanks for looking, it's appreciated!
