The past few days I've shown you goodies I've made for other people.

Today, it's all about me.
I think this post will kill off all the stored up pics of my creations from the past few months and the rest of them are all things I've made for myself.

Except for this one set of magnets:

Made for my husband, who is a big fan of all those superhero types.
And I've gotta admit, so am I.

Unfortunately, the rest of the pictures of the magnets aren't great.

Most of the items are things I've taken out of catalogs, with a few random ones with actual photos I've taken.

I also turned these huge googley eyes into magnets, hoping they'd keep me from raiding the fridge, but then I realized... I don't raid the fridge, I raid the cupboard. Oh well. My kiddo gets a kick out of them.

I also had a glass painting kit I'd gotten from a yard sale last year, but never used it, so I finally got down to business and painted a bunch of these flat beads with the paints.

It was a lot of fun and passed the time, but now I have absolutely no idea what to do with them... I tried the magnet thing, but they're transparent, so you could see the magnet through them and it ruined their look.

ideas?

Also, with our Tax money, I got a little splurge out of it before being responsible. My husband let me buy a Nintendo DS. I got it in Red and I think it's sexy as hell, so I wanted to sew it a nice sexy outfit so it would stay safe and warm:

made out of old nightgowns and a soft cotton blend for insulation.

I made one cute friggin necklace out of pony beads and an old lego-style bead that I swear was mine as a kid, and I found it in the air vent at my Grandpa's in January...

and see those earrings? (the rings, not the turquoise pinwheels) I never take them out, so I converted all of my other earrings into danglies by removing their posts and adding kidney closures. That way I could hang them ON the ones I never take out (don't worry, it doesn't look stupid). Then, I needed a place to keep them because this drawer was insanely tangled:

So I went to the garage, got some bamboo garden stakes and an old window screen and got to work. I came up with this:

It's been fully packed with earrings since these pics have been taken.
I'm forbidding myself to buy or make any more earrings for lack of places to keep them.

Finally, a couple of cross stitch designs. Don't recall if I've posted these already:

That does it for me. I guess I have to get started on some new goodies.
