Tails and things
Apr. 12th, 2008 03:56 pmYou've come to the right post, if you're interested in plasticine critters, wooden frame or CDs... as separate things, though. Not all combined into the same craft. ^_^;
Just sharing these guys because their tails make me happy:

They're made of plasticine -- not clay -- and covered with nailpolish -- not glaze. I was working with what I had at the time...!
Thing number two. I found these cheap frames at IKEA and my aunt offered to buy them for me... so I figured I'd use one of the 6 to make something for her:

The heart came from a tiny fabric sample (also from IKEA!), the doodle was made with watercolor pencils, and the pink ribbon-y stripes were leftover serpentines from when I still used to wear costumes for Carnival.
As for a silly little thing:

Bunny pastries. Yep, that's right.
(I don't know, either.)
And this might not qualify as a craft, but... I had a lot of CDs that were useless, and had to make something useful out of them other than coasters. So I decided to put them in my wall, because it was naked and sad and... well, it sounds like something perfectly reasonable, and I'm sure most of you will agree (which is why I like this community).
Here follows a lot of pictures because I didn't know which to pick:

It's quite pretty in the short time during the day in which the sunlight hits them.
One step closer to simulating living inside a disco ball!
And, well, that's all for today. Comments are more than welcome!
