Day 11 of 365
Apr. 23rd, 2008 02:35 amMy sister's friend saw a guitar pick necklace I made for her and wanted me to make not-so-matchy guitar pick necklaces for herself and her guy. They're simple ball bead chain necklaces (as was requested) with multiple picks on them. I tried to use colors that I felt matched their personalities and interests.
The girl is (as my sister described her) a peace-loving, yoga-practing, flower child. The guy is very outdoorsy, loves trekking, and raggae. My sister's giving these to her tomorrow. Hopefully they'll both like them.

This one's another experiment. I decided to spruce up my one and only plain brown hair chopstick (I don't know what it's really called, so if anyone does, please feel free to enlighten me XD). I had "bead fountain" in mind. I had to drill a hole at the end to attach everything. Crossing my fingers that it doesn't fall off. This is what I ended up with. Critiques and suggestions welcome.

I don't really know how to describe this one. It looks part tinsel-wrapped champagne bottle and part pageant-show bead because of the line of beads going down diagonally. o_0
