So, I NEVER leave my quilt out unless I'm working on the hand-stitching I'm doing on every square. Right now, it's in the loom about half finished and still pinned where it needs to be pinned to keep the front, back, and batting all together.

I get up this morning and one of my sister's cats has so graciously decided to pee on my quilt. I forgot to put it up, so my fault. But my question is, how the hell do I was an unfinished quilt? I'm thinking right now of just filling up the bathtub, throwing some detergent in there, and letting it soak, then rinse out the suds, then let it air dry?

Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't work on a quilt that smells like pee so I can finish it then machine wash it, but I can't throw it out, I've been working on it FOREVER!

Help, pwease?
