making a trophy?

i have this idea of making trophies for this drawing party i'm going to have. i'm going to have people draw things on a theme, and the best ones will get trophies. like, best monster drawing or something. i used to see trophies at thrift stores all the time, but now i never see them. it would be cool if i could alter them, but now i can't find any. does anyone have any ideas on making my own trophies? preferably something not too involved. like, no metalsmithing or major power tools.
any ideas are much appreciated!
