Custom Color Shoes
May. 15th, 2008 01:50 pmHi everyone. I'm a bridesmaid for an August wedding. The dress is a light pink (bubblegum might be a good word to describe it) -- I haven't found any shoes to my liking that I would ever wear again. Since I will only really have to wear the shoes for a short period of time (I'm that person that will usually end up barefoot post-ceremony) - I wanted to "make" my own shoes!
Has anyone had any experience painting/dying/decorating the dyeable shoes from Payless?
How about painting on / decorating just a regular white pump? (as seen below)

Since long-term wear isn't key, I wouldn't have to use a sealant, I imagine. Any suggestions would be appreciated -- Thanks!
