Tile samples and STUFF.

craftgrrlOkay, so. I have a whole bunch of those little tile sample things that you can take from Home Depot. A few years back when my parents were remodeling the bathroom, I would swipe a few every time we went to the store, thinking that I could find something cool to do with them. I haven't yet, so I was wondering if anyone had some ideas?(: I'd be oh so appreciative.
As you can see, I have quite a few of them, but I'm completely stumped on what to actually do with them.
And so this entry isn't COMPLETELY lame...
This one was actually quite a few firsts for me. It was my first time attempting an applique--not so great, and my first time sewing a zipper in.
Just a simple little ring with some cheap beads and wire.(: Sorry for the blurry picture.
And because my sister's puppy was being a huge camera hog while I was taking these pictures, I figure I should include this for the cute factor:
