What I've Been Up To
Jun. 6th, 2008 10:15 pmSo I'm preparing for my first craft fair ever in the fall (Yay!). I'll be doing a few of them (I hope) so I've been trying to get a good clump of stuff made. ^_^
Resin work, batiking, a book, a bumblebee, and alot of clay beads.
There's alot...like 20 odd pics under here. Be prepared!

My charcoal bumblebee. I did him a few years ago but just now sealed and framed him.

Another book. Don't know if I want to do anything else to the cover or not...

Clay pendants I made in pottery last year and just now painted.

Another batiking piece. I like this one alot. I think it'd make a cute pillow.

Polyclay Beads. I have something like 30 round beads like the bicone ones there...but the picture didn't turn out.

One of the better accidents in the world. These were porcelain clay that I painted the designs on with a heat set paint. When I put them in the oven to set the paint...I forgot about them. An hour and a half later...I remembered... O_o I think even though they burned up really bad (all the brown...used to be white), they're still very pretty. They're still very strong too, so I can still use them. ^_^

Resin pendant...wire wrapped. I'm very proud of the twisty top.
And my favorite:

Resin paper weight. ^_^ I love how this turned out.

And this one is a gift for a lady who's leaving work due to gas being too high. Stupid Gas.
Tell me what you think! ^_^
