A little craftyness for your Tuesday
Jun. 11th, 2008 10:42 amI don't care if the army look is currently 'out'....

It's a damn nifty bag.......

The top opening which has these great big snaps was originally on the side.
So, with the purchase of the gunmetal square side ring, the clipping, resewing, and rearranging of the existing straps, I now have a functioning, sturdy, sling bag.
The strap is made up of the two straps that were originally on there with a unique unconventional use of one of the metal sliders as an impromptu D ring. I like low slung bags. Trendy or no. Those tiny strapped clutch, but not clutch bags just piss me off.
And of course, since all the stenciling ended up being, sadly, on the back, I had to decorate the front with , well, why not my design house name? ~I did it sideways to match the back as it's also on it's side~
And, well, if I'm going to do that.....why not put my logo on the side too?

Bonus, this also has a snapping pocket inside perfect for my lippy and cellphone. And of course those outside loops for me to clip my keys to ~I kept that bottom strap longer on purpose as it had a hidden 'D' ring underneath it already and I wanted to keep the overall strappy utility look to it. I reused one of the clips from one of the original straps on it so I can move it around as the mood strikes me :D~ .
Ok, this is all.
Back to work for me.
