Glue/Sealant Question

So, I make pendants on domino like tiles (see image! :D) from illustrations out of old fairy tale books and random, found words... in order to seal them, I use multiple coats of mod podge.

I was at the bead store today, and I fell in LOVE with these sea glass type pendants. They're just plain sea glass, smooth on one side. The little gears in my head whirred and clicked, and I realized I wanted to try making the same sort of pendants on the sea glass... but something tells me that mod podge would NOT work the same on glass as it does on wood.

So! What do you think I should use that would glue the paper to the glass, and then seal the paper and glass securely? Any help is greatly appreciated, m'dears!
