Well ladies, I'm finally done.
I'm 37.5 weeks pregnant, and I finally finished all of the craft projects I've been working on for my son, and I have TONS of pictures for you!

Here's a little teaser:

I hope you like everything!

This is the mobile I made for above his crib.
I made it out of sticks I found in my backyard, yarn, ribbon, and origami paper.
I'm really really pleased with how it came out.

Next is a lamp I made.
I'd had this old crappy lamp for ages, and wanted to do something fun with it for his room.

And after!

After I pulled out the lame blue flowers, I was left with an even lamer gold pole.
So I took some gray felt, and hot glued buttons to it.
Then I took out my bag of disembodied artists models, and painted them.
The I wrapped the felt around the pole, stuffed it with cotton balls to give it some shape, and hot glued the little people on in a fun mished-mashed sort of way.
They're sort of falling off now, but I don't care. It was a b*tch trying to slide them back inside the glass, and I didn't feel like taking them out again to re-glue.

Next is the painting that I made for him.
Every nursery has wooden wall letters that spell out their baby's name, but I wanted something a bit more creative than that, so I had his daddy draw out the letters, and I painted them in and added the background.

I needed something for behind the rocker, so I grabbed some scrap cardboard from the tons of baby gear boxes we have, and painted happy little monsters. I only realized after they were hung how much they look like Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc. Oh well. :P

When I FIRST found out I was pregnant, I started crocheting a baby blanket. Something that would be funky, but gender neutral. This is the result.

With some of the leftover yarn I crocheted some baby booties.

And the latest project were these little animals that I painted, on yet some more scrap cardboard boxes.
Each animal represents a letter of his name.
