And I have a fetish, as we already know, for space saving keeper together things.

And I also have a largish collection of vintage dress gloves and hankies, both of which have or are made of delicate materials that do not like being shoved into the corner of my underwear drawer.........

I present:

Glove holder and hankie holder....

Plain olde novelty cotton scrap purchased for a buck? Maybe two?

I love buttons......

White grosgrain ribbon to hold the gloves/ hankies in, on both sides to maximize storage.

The glove holder holds 6 pairs. I ended up making two to keep my collection.

And the hankie holder can hold 14. I only have 3 open spaces left.

Nice, tidy, safe storage. Plus now I'll be able to actually find what I'm looking for, vs pulling everything out looking for that other glove that goes with my ensemble, or the hankie I wanted to take with me.....and still not finding it until 2 days later while I'm looking for something else.
