I've taken up nalbinding recently, and there is a complex stitch which requires a specific type of yarn. As a handspinner, I can easily make it for myself, but other crafters have expressed interest in learning, and I'd love to be able to give them the name of an appropriate yarn to purchase instead of telling them they have to learn how to spin it themselves.
The yarn MUST be smooth, DK weight, and single ply. It's also highly preferable that it can be felted, though I can work around that if needed.
Does yarn like that exist outside of handspinning?
