Sculptamold..?

Have any of you girls used Amaco's Sculptamold molding compound to make jewelry? Like, little beads and charms?

the Joann's in my town sucks, and has no polymer clay unless I want to spend $4 for a sugar-packet sized square, so I am looking for all other options.
