Hi I'm from Singapore and this is my first time posting here..:)
A little pressed for time now so i'll just be sharing some stuff i made for my boyfriend over the last 2 years..

i'm all for DIY gifts but i think i've made soo many things for him i'm running outta ideas!!

vday gift

for valentines - I had a lotta scrap cloth lying ard then...and was running outta time so i just pieced them all together and made this rather customary present.. message was "u got my heart locked up" or something cheesy like that! haha had no idea what he could use it for though haha stress ball maybe? but well turned out quite nice.. it was a stuffed heart wrapped in purple chiffon.. it was a last min decision to wrap it up simply coz my stitching was too messy!! haha but still turned out not bad so im happy :) isnt it wonderful how things just turn out for the better when you nv planed for it to happen? happens alot in crafting! :)

**psst: he used it as a wrist-rest in the end!

penguin bros

Penguin Bros: We have a Thing for Penguins
once again, not much of an effort but turned out not too bad.. :)

sewed a teeshirt for the penguin stuffed toy on the right from felt. The wordings were stitched from felt cut outs as well
Its named after Joey's penguin Hugsie! we're F.R.I.E.N.D.S addicts! haha

Photobucket

My latest effort!!
I endeavoured to make something useful for once (i.e something that can do more than just lie ard and look pretty) and came up with this! Its supposed to be a desktop organiser! :)The metallic thing in front is a calendar in case its not too clear from here..Most of the materials were bought from this great $2 shop called Daiso (the miniature A-frame, the puzzle, the Japanese character stickers and the metal calendar) with the exception of the clockwork. The only place i know that sells the clockwork pieces is Spotlight but I thought it was ridiculously expensive! (S$30+++ (21USD) per set) So...being the cheapskate I am...i went and got a $1dollar generic plastic frame clock and dismantled it for my own use :)
