Stitchin' and Bitchin'
Sep. 7th, 2008 02:47 pmAfter a few months of chaos, I've finally been able to pick up my sewing needle again. I've made four pieces in the past few weeks - which is a good start I suppose. I tried starting a larger piece, but I just don't have the patience to stick with it. Under the cut are my completed projects - with adult language, of course.
Btw, my next project is going to be a portrait of "The Gashley Crumb Tinies".

This is my rendition of the Nickel City Knockouts logo, plus some colorful language. The Nickel City Knockouts (NCKO) are my roller derby team :)
I worked on this piece for about six hours yesterday, and I'm very proud of it! I couldn't find a pattern for brass knuckles, so I came up with my own. The picture is in a 5x7" frame.

This picture is taken from a pattern in the book "Subversive Cross Stitch". Right now it's hanging up in my kitchen :) The frame is about 4x6".

I whipped up this little guy in about two hours last weekend. If you can't tell, it's a zombie. I found the pattern for free thanks to my Google-fu. The whole piece is probably only 2 1/2 x 3 1/2".

Another pattern from "Subversive Cross Stitch". I came up with the wording, but the pattern is from the book. I haven't decided what to do with this yet. I'm thinking I might give it as a gift.
