some more pillows....

here are some pics of pillows i have made over the past few months....


1.) wedding dress pillows.....



these first four were made for my aunt.... last time i was in NY for a visit she gave me her wedding dress (from the 70's) and her mother's wedding dress (from the 40's), I ripped seams and put together some vintage dress pillows for her as a keepsake.... (they came out super nice) the fabric from her mom's dress was silkily soft!!




2.) this next set was made for my potential mother in law to be..... she sent me some pictures of her newly remodeled living room and i surprised her with these for her bday...



my favorite is the black and white squared one.. it's unbelievably soft and squishy.... gonna do a remake of that one soon...


3.) made my boyfriends' brother a silky oriental set too...



the backs are soft short fuzzy grey...

4.) some 'man' pillows for my brother in law and pregnant sister (with a boy)



sorry for crappy pic, it was from my phone..... and these are soft and fuzzy (even my dad liked them)

5.) Lastly (for now) i made a ring bear pillow for my sister's wedding that was in April... (also made a mini version for the build-a-bear we bought for the ring bearer as a gift... so the bear got a pillow too...



so that's about all i have pictures of right now...

been working on a blanket... (well it actually was the first thing i ever started... randomly kept adding onto it over time and eventually it got big enough to fit on my bed... so i rounded (well squared) it out and it's a hodge podge of total randomness... so i picked a solid back color for it and i am almost done with the back, so very very soon i will be combining them and adding the batting and posting it in all it's ugly glory for your viewing pleasures..... so bear with me.....
