Warcraft silly crafts... I present Zagorg
Sep. 19th, 2008 11:12 pmHowdy! Long time lurker, first time poster.
Today I thought I'd share with you all a plushie I made based on a World of Warcraft creature known as a void walker. Someone expressed an interest to see a few days ago so I thought I would share :D so without further ado, I introduce...Zagorg, or "Gorgie" as I like to call him.

He's just chilling out waiting to devour some souls or something... there are a few more pics
Please excuse the background of the pic, I used an old hair dye towel so its got some odd stains, but it helped lighten the photos a bit so you can all see his fuzzy cuteness.
I made the pattern myself, and he is just made out of felt sheets and the detail is painted on with acrylic pain, which picked up the fluff of the felt a bit, but worked good enough and got the effect I desired. I am sure it could be done better, but it was nearing christmas day and he was a present for my boyfriend (who played a warlock) and I wanted him finished and dry.
another front view

close up of the bracer/cuff detail

and lastly one of him being a show off for the camera, you can see his fuzzy lil face detail in this one.

and here is a reference pic ... he is without the little cloud... I just couldn't work out how to do it without it looking tacky or having a bunch of cotton balls just glued to his tail thing hehe :\
