Polymer Clay "Paper" Beads.
Sep. 22nd, 2008 03:01 pmI made 6 new bracelets!

Backstory: I LOVE paper beads. LOVE THEM. But they take me a ton of time and I always make a mess and then they're not waterproff. Then, I saw a portion of a book on polymer clay and got a great idea: Polymer clay "paper" beads!
I made a bunch of them and turned them into bracelets by alternating between them and glass or wood beads.
I love them:

Blue and Green

Black faux Hematite

Wooden

Purple

Red

Neutrals (and a single purple that slid in--oops)
I practised them by making myself a set in green:

Bracelet and Earrings

Necklace.
They make me happy.
