My grandma passed away a couple of years ago and my grandpa just gave me her sewing machine earlier this week. I wish she was around to help me learn how to sew and see my finished projects!

This was my first project on a sewing machine.



Last year, I made a hallowed-out book for my, at the time, significant other and used velvet for the lining. Today, I used the rest of said velvet to make this scarf! It's four feet, ten inches and closer to a "Christmas Red" than the picture gives it credit for.



This picture is lighter than the actual color.
