Teenie remelt candles
Oct. 3rd, 2008 10:27 amWhile melting down some old leftover candle wax to make new candles, I spyed in my candle rems tin some little mini lipgloss tins that I kept, because, well, they were just so nifty.
They just had to be turned into my:
'Firebug'
Mini remelt candles

And I already had some old wick stubs laying about, so I figured, why not turn them into little purse candles? Since I'm a practical kinda girl and I think no lady's purse should be without.
You never know when you'll need a candle.
Of course I then had to do something about that lid. If I'm going to go through the trouble of filling it with wax, the cover should reflect the insides......
So, a coating of black auto primer, some creative use of leftover laserprint labels as stencils, a coat of silver enamel, and some touching up here and there with more matte black and gold with a brush......voila!

And open....

The end.
