"Embossed" tin protection?

craftgrrlI want to try making these easy "embossed" tins (http://www.craftstylish.com/item/4976/how-to-emboss-a-metal-tin) but I'm wondering... if it's that soft and easy to emboss, won't it easily be marred once I'm done? Can anyone think of a way that will keep it from being ruined if it's to be used or thrown in a purse or bag or something?
