My 10 year old has to make a model of a building by a famous architect. I can't remember the name of the guy or the name of the building but it's in Finland and they want it as detailed as she can get it.

(For the record, I never had to do this stuff when I was 10!)

Anyways... what is easiest for her to use. From what I can describe of the building there aren't any rounded pieces to it. It's pretty straight edged but with angles.

Is it easier to tape together thicker pieces of posterboard? What about cutting those styrofoam blocks you can get at the hobby store? What is cheap and easy for her to work with?

EDIT!

I found the building she's doing:
