I made this for my boyfriend's bday last week. He's a general contractor, so I assembled different tools of the trade to spell out his name. Then I took a pic of each "letter", printed, matted then framed.

I'm not happy with the frame cuz it was very last minute. He has 4 letters in his name and all pre-matted frames I could find either had 3 or 5 spaces. Grrr. So this is a temporary matte/frame until I can find something nicer. He loved it cuz he loves photography and of course he loves tools!!

I also made my first pillow for him. I used the same fabric we used to make his laundry basket. He needs a small pillow for his lower back, we call it his "grandpa pillow". I still need to figure out how to close the stitch better but you can't see the sloppy bits.
