Sunday, a woman at my dad's church handed me a charm and asked me how much I'd charge her to turn it into a charm bracelet she could wear everyday. I told her I'd go ahead and put it together and then quote a price.

Here it is:

She has trouble finding bracelets because she has very small (6.5 inches) wrists and loves the main charm (plans on putting grandkid's pic inside) and didn't really give me any info to go on, but I did my best without going overboard.

Since she's a religious lady, I gave her one of my own charms (the small cross) and bought a small set of word charms (hope, peace, love) as well as all the metal bits that create a bracelet.

And then I spent an hour or so working on it last night to make it what it is. I placed and replaced the parts in different locations until it came to this:

Now, for a couple of questions...

She's got the 6.5 inch wrist, so I made the bracelet 7".
Is this too big?
Is this too much or not enough for daily use?
What would one charge for something like this?
With all the stuff I bought, it cost about $7.00 to make and so I was thinking $15.00 would be a modest amount but don't want to cheat her or myself. I'm very VERY new to selling (just sold my first pieces two weeks ago) and love it but I'm told by friends and family that my prices are too low for the work I do.

What do you guys charge as a general idea?

Please help!! I want to give the bracelet to her on Sunday and plan on calling her tomorrow or the next day to let her know the price.

Thanks ahead of time!
