I pulled out my precious metal clay and have been having fun.

This pendant started out as raw brass. I washed and sanded it and painted on precious metal clay. I coated it two more times and used my clay tools to carve out lines to give it more detailing.

I then fired the clay with a handheld torch till the silver was completely melded to the brass. I let it cool and sanded and polished it. The coating of clay gives it a .999 silver plate over the brass.

This pendant was raw brass and I plated it with fine silver. I also did a build up in certain areas to give it some cool topography.

I bought this vintage leaf from a lady on the Beadwork magazine groups. It was 24K gold but gold just doesn't sell well. So, I coated it with fine silver clay and fired it.

This geode that popped and burned me. OWWW! It sure did come out nicer than I expected. Now, if I can find the other ones :) I sanded the back and then painted on a fine silver paste made from precious metal clay.

I let it dry and fired the stone to set the fine silver. I repeated it twice to make sure the coat was thick enough. I polished it up and attached a bail to the back with silver solder.

I am working on a bracelet for myself. I've put tons of time in but it is giving me more experience with pmc.
