Have you ever used flannel, when modifying jeans into bellbottoms?

Yes, I've googled this subject, in many diff ways, and no nothing came up that had anything to do with flannel in the seems to make bell bottoms.


If you had, did it wear out quickly, and what other problems did flannl VS cotton fabric present?
