Glue question

craftgrrlI've never been that happy with E6000 for bead projects. It seems gummy and not very strong, and my tubes always dry up before I can use even 10% of it. For securing threads and stuff I preferred hypo-cement, and it has worked great. I've started doing some things with glass gems and metal filigrees, and I was wondering if there was any reason I couldn't use my hot glue gun for these?
