So I asked my fiance what he wanted to be for Halloween. Kidding around, he said "A big scary bat!".

So here it is, the UmbrellaBat.


I bought a black hoodie at the thrift store, it's womens even though he's wearing it. The fabric is really stretchy and it was impossible to find something in mens that is light enough to wear indoors. The wings are obviously from a broken black umbrella. I modified the instructions given on evilmadscientist.com , since I used one of those super-compactable umbrellas and it was a bit wonky. I think it came out really fun though, only took an afternoon of battling with umbrella fabric:D
