This squid was NOT easy. I made a mold for the body and added on the longer tentacles. They kept breaking before I could fire it. I used Art Clay instead of PMC3 which is much harder to work with. It dries faster and doesn't hold before firing. After I fired it, it was the same as PMC3. I wish I could do these in a kiln tho. Torch firing is a little scary at times.

I called this Unfamiliar Planet. I even wrote up a story about it. This one gave me no problems and came out exactly like I wanted it too. After Mr. Squid, I needed the break!

I didn't make these charms but I have been looking for them for three years! I found them at a gem show this weekend. Because they are hard to find and solid sterling they were expensive!

This is raw brass coated with metal clay. I thought about using an enamel or resin to color the rose section but I decided to leave it.

I have more things on the burner just short of time. I'm working on an octopus that the tenticles keep breaking. If I could get it to dry and fire it life would be good. I might have to wait for my pmc3 order to come in before I finish it. Thanks for looking and I'd love any constructive criticism.
