Is an embossing tool/gun really necessary? Can you get by with a hair dryer perhaps? Please let me know about your successes and/or failures with either method. Do you have a favorite stamping product or line that you think every stamper should have/use? My mother-in-law is pretty into Stampin' Up! as is another friend of mine who belongs to a monthly stamp club. I really want to make cards and/or invitations and have had some luck with stamps from A.C. Moore and Michael's and have just started getting into Stampin' Up! products (I have 2 stamp sets and that is all from them, but I really like their ink colors...)
