Magazine Lined Mirror- Basically a Question with Pics

First off... let me know if this isn't allowed- since it is trying to copy something that is sold....

My friend found a mirror at Urban Outfitters that she really really liked but couldn't put that much money in a mirror. I told her it seemed easy to do... and now that I look at it, I'm not too sure of what I can do. 

The mirror is framed by rolled up bits of magazine (there are two pictures uner the cut). Has anyone done anything like this? If so, any suggestions orrr pictures? :)

and then my next question... I had an idea of using Modge Podge *sp*... but I've never used it before and the only way I've heard of it is because of this community. Would this be something you could use Modge Podge *sp* with?
