Just in the nick of time

I was burning off yarn this week, making a hat and scarf, and I finished it tonight. Lucky for me, really, because it's now officially cold and windy outside.




The hat's made of Moda Dea Dream, and the flowers are Red Heart Symphony. And I did not know until I checked the name of the Red Heart yarn that both it and Moda Dea were owned by the same company. So, I learned something today.



For the scarf, I simply flipped the dominant yarn. It's Symphony for the scarf and Moda Dea for the trim.
