Toddler Lounge Pants

I'm thinking of sewing my nephew a pair of flannel lounge pants for Christmas - he's 2.



Does anyone have a good recommendation for a pattern? Or maybe there's an easy way to draft a pattern (that doesn't require his pants.) or an online tutorial??
