I've started scanning all the scrap booking paper or stickers or iron on's I buy, in an effort to make my supplies go a bit farther, since once used I still have their copy on my computer. I do not do this for selling I do it for personal fun and to make my money and my purchase go a bit farther. Also do it for ease of shareing what I bought with friends when it's not handy to photograph the item.
However when you scan something that's glittery or metalic, it comes out very flat looking, and in some cases, like the red metalic apples They come out looking a bit black. Why is that, is it the quality of my dad's scanner, or is it simply cause scanned images will rarely have the same vibrancy the original will.
