Houndstooth necklace!

This necklace is fun because the colored background is made up of paint samples my parents had, and I just put the houndstooth plastic over it. It's very lightweight too.






Locket!

I LOVE this locket. It's a little damaged (you can see in the picture where the heart is open), but not a bad flea market find for 25 cents. It gave me a good use to finally use the purple beads my dad gave me ages ago. I originally wanted to put dried flowers inside, but that idea failed miserably so I just decided to go with floral print foil and a dragonfly charm (the hook pinched off) inside instead.










This project was fun. Wait, all projects are fun. Clearly I'm not thinking right. Anyway, I got to use so many different types of beads. I didn't know I had so many beads that matched!
